Thesis:

ShoreTel handset shall function normally after being subjected to drops onto concrete covered with 0.3cm asphalt.

Testing:

18 random drops simulating failed handset hang-ups from a wall mounted phone at a height of 5 feet.

Assumptions:

· The ShoreTel phone shall be wall mounted with the top of the phone at the height specified above. The handset shall be connected to the handset cord and phone during the testing. · Minor cosmetic damage is acceptable but audio problems, any loose or rattling internal parts, cracked parts, or gaps opened between housing components shall constitute a failure.

Results:
