“Loving our clients and taking unbelievable care of them.” That’s how Tom describes life at the company he founded in 1997. What he enjoys most about his job is having, as he says, “the flexibility to accomplish great things for our clients.” Keeping a healthy spiritual outlook is of the utmost importance to him. For Tom, a weekend escape to a beachfront cabin with his family and a bottle of Oregon Pinot Noir is what he calls R&R.
Andrew Morrison, Account Executive
Andrew’s energy and enthusiasm for life is hard to match. As a newlywed, spending time with his wife is his first joy, yet, he still manages to fit in running, golfing, fishing, and skiing. He brings this same spirit to work each day, eagerly taking on technical challenges in a quest to help each customer enjoy the benefits technology can bring to their business.
Geoff Green, Account Executive
The aha moment. That instant when the light bulb goes on for the customer as he’s working out technology solution for them. That’s what Geoff lives for with his customers as they work together to find just the right answer to a need or a problem. A wealth of information, Geoff is eager and well-suited to find ways to help exceed his customers’ expectations. After hours, he loves what he calls “the usual vices” that Portland has to offer — strong coffee, craft beer, and its adventurous food scene.
Jodi Colbert, Account Executive
A self-described “telecom junkie,” Jodi loves to take an active interest in how her customers do business. It helps her find just the right technology solution to help them meet their business objectives in the most cost-effective way. When she’s on her own, however, she likes to stay busy working out, hiking, camping, wake boarding, training to walk the Portland Marathon or just hanging out with friends and family.
Raylene Goodwin, Account Executive
Integrity, honesty and loyalty are qualities that Raylene admires—and exemplifies. In her role as Account Executive, she sees herself as a communications advisor, looking at all of her customers’ voice and data needs and seeking ways to make the whole package work best for the customer’s benefit. After hours, she loves to golf and is actively involved in the women’s ministries at her church. When it’s time for a special treat out of town, she loves to travel south to the McKenzie River area.
Robert Edwards, Sales Engineer
From the ripe old age of 15, Robert knew he wanted to work in computers and telephone technology. He even keeps a complete ShoreTel phone system in his basement to tinker with in his spare time. Naturally, he loves his work here at Sterling. And when it’s time to take a few days off, he loves getting out to Bend, Oregon, to see the Central Oregon countryside and reconnect with good friends.
